We perform in-office surgical procedures for the treatment of many skin, hair, and nail conditions.

Among these procedures is Mohs surgery, a technique recognized as the skin cancer treatment with the highest reported cure rate. Mohs surgeons, like
Dr. Ehrnstrom, maximize the removal of cancer while minimizing the removal
of healthy tissue.

During this procedure:

• Dr. Ehrnstrom removes small amounts of tissue from the affected area (usually the face, head, or neck).
• The tissue is examined under a microscope in our on-site laboratory.
• Once the tumor margins are clear, Dr. Ehrnstrom performs plastic surgery reconstruction of the area.
• Occasionally, Dr. Ehrnstrom will work in conjunction with other plastic surgery-trained physicians in the area for the reconstruction portion.
