We provide courtesy billing to your primary and secondary insurance carriers. Insurance coverage for dermatology services varies depending on your insurance. Please check with your individual insurance carrier for coverage information. Additionally, some plans require a referral from your primary care physician, so it is always a good idea to contact your insurance company for their specific requirements before your visit. 

While we will bill most carriers on behalf of our patients, we cannot guarantee personal coverage or benefits. Only your insurance company can guarantee that our providers are in their network. 

Alaska Center for Dermatology is an Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield Preferred Provider. We accept Aetna, Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska, and United HealthCare.
