Cutera laser treatments are used to lighten or remove vascular or pigmented lesions on the body and are able to correct red, purple, brown, and blue pigmentations in all skin types. This is achieved by using a focused laser that forces vascular areas to coagulate, eventually destroying the vessel which is later reabsorbed by your body, resulting in more even skin tones.
Multiple treatments may be necessary to achieve your desired results. During your consultation with one of our Providers, a specific treatment course will be tailored to you and the condition you wish to have treated.
Conditions Treated with Cutera Laser:
- Port-wine stains (PWS)
- Venous lakes
- Facial veins
- Leg veins
Are There Risks or Side Effects?
Redness and/or swelling can be expected following your treatment and will resolve itself within a few days. In some cases, your Provider might prescribe a topical steroid to reduce swelling, if necessary. Cutera’s technology provides safe, predictable outcomes with minimal discomfort.
