Pamela Haughom, PA-C is a Certified Physician Assistant specializing in Dermatology. Pam is originally from Chicago, Illinois. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois and then went on to complete the Physician Assistant Program at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.
After completing her studies, Pam worked for five years in Chicago in orthopedic surgery, assisting and coordinating patient care. She has also worked at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, providing multidisciplinary care to patients with complex bladder, kidney, and prostate cancers.
When Pam relocated to Alaska, she continued her work in surgical oncology where she focused on providing patient education and coordinating treatment plans for patients with various types of cancer including melanoma. Her work with and interest in melanoma led her to transition her career to a dermatological focus.
Pam enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, as well as hiking, traveling, and baking.
