The Alaska Center for Dermatology has been caring for the skin health of its Alaska community for more than two decades. This November, we are moving from Providence Health Park to a new location.
On November 25, 2025, we welcome patients to our all-new, modern location at 188 W Northern Lights Blvd, Suite 800, Anchorage, AK 99503. This move reflects our commitment to providing exceptional Dermatology care in an environment designed for our patients’ comfort and convenience in mind.

Founded in 2003 by Dr. Peter Ehrnstrom, Alaska Center for Dermatology in Anchorage has grown into one of Alaska’s most trusted Dermatology practices. Over the years, we have earned multiple recognitions, including:

Meet Our Dermatology Providers and Mohs Surgeons in Anchorage, Alaska
Our team combines surgical expertise, specializing in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Medical Dermatology, Cosmetic Dermatology, and patient-centered care.
- Peter Ehrnstrom, MD, FAAD, FASDS – Board-Certified Dermatologic Surgeon. Founder of the practice, known for his Mohs surgery skills and leadership in skin cancer treatment.
- Robert Moreland, MD, FAAD – Board-Certified Dermatologist with experience in both Medical and Cosmetic Dermatology, including treatment of complex skin disorders and cosmetic procedures.
- Michael Michener, MD, FAAD – Board-Certified Dermatologist focusing on Medical Dermatology and patient education, offering compassionate, evidence-based care.
- Pamela Haughom, PA-C – Certified Physician Assistant who works closely with the Dermatologists to manage Medical Dermatology cases and patient follow-ups.
- Ivy Parayo, PA-C – Certified Physician Assistant who supports Medical Dermatology services, helping ensure timely and thorough care.
We are also delighted to welcome two new colleagues to our Alaska Center for Dermatology team:
Dr. Stephen Austad, DO, FAAD, FAOCD
Dr. Austad is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and Fellowship-Trained Mohs Surgeon. He brings expertise in advanced surgical techniques for skin cancer treatment and comprehensive Dermatology care and will be joining us in early 2026.
Chelsea Trask, PA-C
Chelsea is a nationally certified Physician Assistant specializing in Dermatology. She has advanced training in Medical, Surgical, and Cosmetic Dermatology and is dedicated to helping patients achieve long-term skin health. She will start seeing Dermatology patients in late 2025.
